Keeping up with skincare trends can be hard to do! It seems like there is a new product line coming out every day. I tend to stick with the tried and true brands that I know work for my skin. Being a blogger, I get offered alot of beauty products to try, most of which I say no to. I do not have sensitive skin, but continually changing skin products tends to make me breakout.

However, when Lexli Advance Aloe Skincare approached me, I was intrigued. Lexli skincare has aloe-based products instead of water-based. Being that I grew up on the west coast, I’m very familiar with the healing properties of aloe for minor cuts and burns. Growing up, I would go outside and cut a small piece off of an aloe plant in the yard and squeeze the clear serum inside the plant and apply it to my wound.

Below are some are the healing properties of aloe.

Antioxidant and antibacterial properties
Accelerates the healing of burns
Reduces dental plaque.
Helps treat canker sores.
Reduces constipation.
May improve skin and prevent wrinkles.
Lowers blood sugar levels

Revital-Eyes eye cream

There are two standout products I’ve tried from this line. The first is Lexli Revital-Eyes Rejuvenating & Firming Eye Cream. I’ve been using this hydrating eye-cream daily for the past 30 days. The thin skin around my eye is more hydrated and plumped. This aloe vera eye-cream is silky smooth and absorbs instantly, encouraging skin’s natural collagen production. I love how it also smooths wrinkles. I apply this cream under and over make-up. It’s wonderful to use to the eye throughout the day.

The second product I was really impressed with is the AloeGlyC. This is a cream glycolic acid exfoliator, unlike any other. It has a base of organic, pharmaceutical-grade aloe vera, and glycolic acid. After I used this product once my skin was glowing and the texture was smoother! With results like unclogging and shrinking pores, I’m hooked!

AloeGlyC is packed with antioxidants, including Vitamin C beads, as well as Vitamins A, D, E, and Green Tea, that work to neutralize free radical damage, contributing to healthier- and younger-looking skin.

To apply AloeGlyC, place a nickel-size amount of product in the palm of your hand. Use gentle upward and outward strokes, smooth exfoliator onto face and neck. Staying away from the eyes. DO NOT WASH OFF. Allow AloeGlyC to sit on the skin for 10 to 15 minutes before applying the moisturizer of your choice.

Haircare products are something I don’t mess around with; I have my favorites and stick with them. I only want to use products to make my hair have a good day. I want my hair to be smooth without being weighed down and have a bouncy silky texture and shine.

However, when the iconic french brand Sisley-Paris sent me some of their luxurious Hair Rituel products, I was very excited! I’m already a massive fan of their plant-based skin-care line! Sidenote: This neck cream is a game-changer!

Luxurious Hair Care

Precious Haircare Oil

The first product I used was the antioxidant-rich Precious Haircare Oil. This product stands out for me, and I will have it in my haircare routine forever! The oil can be patted on dry or damp hair. I put one-two drop on my damp hair and scalp, style it, then, as a final step, work 1-2 drops into my dry hair. It leaves my hair with serious shine and nutrition and never weighs it down. It helps give me a lived-in look I love! My hairdresser even asked me what I had changed because my hair was looking so healthy!

I can’t say enough about this product. This lightweight oil delivers significant results with hydration, shine, and nutrition for the hair and scalp! It absorbs instantly, and it is suitable for every hair type. The oil is packaged in a 3.3 oz bottle, which is a significant amount! When you consider this size and how long it will last, it is less per ounce than the brand I was previously using.

Volumizing Spray

I tried this product next. The volumizing spray works well for giving me volume with texture. I spray it on my roots when my hair is damp, then brush it through before I blow dry. It definitely did its job, but I wasn’t blown away by anything in particular.

Color Perfecting Shampoo

I was super impressed with this shampoo! I fell in love with how it left my hair feeling and looking. The first time I used it, I washed my hair and scalp three times, now two is sufficient. Keep in mind I only wash my hair every 5-6 days, so it’s plenty dirty and full of products. After using it once, my hair had never felt so bouncy and light! It feels somehow different at the root and seems to give it the needed lift. This product brightens my highlights and smoothes my hair without making it feel heavy, leaving it incredibly soft. I think it is 100% worth the high price tag and will repurchase this shampoo when I run out.

Although this high-performance haircare line has a healthy price tag, it has been a game-changer for my hair! If you’re looking for top-of-the-line ingredients, zero artificial scents, essential-oil laden, and sulfate-free products for your hair, I highly suggest trying this line. You won’t be disappointed.
