Statement Boots

If you’ve been following along with me here or on Instagram, you know I usually keep things pretty classic and simple when putting my outfits together. However, when I want to take my outfits up a notch, a statement boot does the trick.

These burgundy snake print boots are my fall obsession, and I’ve been wearing them every chance I get! They are a sock-boot style, which is one of my favorite types of boots. I love that they look great on a bare leg and they easily tucked under my pants.

Style Options

• The easiest and most chic way to wear statement boots is to keep your clothing in a monochrome tone, such as all black. Keeping your outfit as simple as I have here, lets your boots sing.
• Mix them with other prints but keeping solid pieces in between. Doing this will give your eye a break from prints so as not to overwhelm. Wear your fun statement boots with solid pants or a skirt. Add a neutral color top and a printed neck scarf or bag.
• A statement boot can also be a bright color such as red, purple or metallic. You can style solid colored boots in the same way as above too.
• Red boots paired with a pretty leopard or plaid dress is a perfect way to take that outfit up a notch!
