It’s easy to stay warm and stylish with quality pieces from Talbots. Now is the perfect time to stock up on Talbots during their semi-annual Red Door Sale! The entire site is on sale with an additional 50% off two items in your cart. I’ve styled some of my favorites to help you stay effortlessly chic in the cold weather. Let’s jump in!
1. Classic Blazer
A classic blazer is a staple piece in your wardrobe that easily adds layer and warmth and elevates the entire outfit. This one is 90’s inspired with a relaxed fit. The brown checkered pattern paired with a contrasting solid-colored collar sets it apart from other blazers. It’s perfect for the office and the weekend. I styled it for a weekend look with jeans and a boxy-fit turtleneck. The jeans are high-waisted, so the hip-hitting length of the turtleneck allowed me to add a bit of texture to the look with a French tuck. And, for a more polished look, I chose nice flats
Sizing (5’6” and 24” waist):
- Straight Ankle Jeans: TTS, wearing Petite because I like the shorter length. Always remember to check the inseam!
- Turtleneck Sweater: TTS, Small
- Relaxed 90s Blazer – Autumn Check: TTS, Small. I took TTS for the oversized look.
- Tinsley Bow Suede Ballet Flats: TTS, 6.5
2. Elevated and Elegant
Are you looking to feel put together without a hassle? Look no further than this outfit! The Montauk Pant features an elastic waistband and soft knit material for ultimate comfort, and yet the kick flare crop length in Denim Heather gives it a chic touch. I was drawn to the texture of the white cardigan with the bold gold buttons. It’s incredibly comfortable and easy to layer with. It’s soft enough to not wear anything underneath it.
Sizing (5’6” and 24” waist):
- Montauk Pant: TTS, wearing Petite because I like the shorter length. Always remember to check the inseam!
- Textured Mockneck Cardigan: TTS, XS
- Tinsley Bow Suede Ballet Flats: TTS, 6.5
3. Pop of color
It’s easy to resort to darker, muted colors during the colder months, but I love wearing bright colors occasionally! This bright blue jacket caught my eye, and pairing it with these brown corduroy jeggings helped the color pop even more. I elongated the look of my legs by continuing the brown down to my heeled boots. This easy styling hack can be used year-round and with any outfit. I added soft texture with the pointelle knit sweater underneath the wool coat. It’s a delicate design adds the right amount of femininity to an otherwise structured outfit.
Sizing (5’6” and 24” waist):
- Stretch Corduroy Jeggings: TTS, wearing Regular length. Always remember to check the inseam!
- Pointelle Knit Sweater Jacket: TTS, Small
- Italian Melton Wool Blend Coat: TTS, Small
4. Quilted Jacket
Another outfit featuring the corduroy jeggings, because they are so comfortable. It has the right amount of stretch without compromising shape and structure. The cable knit sweater is not only in a beautiful color but also hits below the hip with a side slit, so it can easily be worn tucked. I love continuing texture throughout the outfit for a cohesive look, and the corduroy trim on the quilted jacket does just that! This chic jacket is the perfect outfit completer this winter season.
Sizing (5’6” and 24” waist):
- Stretch Corduroy Jeggings: TTS, wearing Regular length. Always remember to check the inseam!
- Autumnal Cable-Knit Mockneck Pullover: TTS, Small
- Quilted Barn Jacket: TTS, Small
5. On-the-Go Look
Last but not least, I had the on-the-go woman in mind when styling this outfit. The vest adds an extra layer of warmth without a hassle. It’s also reversible with pockets on both sides, making this a staple for those between seasons. The tweed sweater adds an elegant touch, and the mock neck with gold buttons adds texture to the outfit. This is the perfect look for school drop-off and running errands without compromising comfort and style!
Sizing (5’6” and 24” waist):
- Stretch Corduroy Jeggings: TTS, wearing Regular length. Always remember to check the inseam!
- Texture Tweed Snap Mockneck Sweater: TTS, X-Small
- Reversible Vest: Size down! I’m wearing a Petite Small.
