Chic Fall Outfits
Fall has arrived, and I’m excited about wearing chic cozy layers! I tend to gravitate towards a neutral pallet in the fall. The browns, creams, and blacks all have my heart during the colder weather.
You do not need to spend a lot on knits to look put together. In my opinion, some sweaters are so overpriced! I mean, it’s a sweater, not a pair of shoes. Unless your talking cashmere with a classic cut, you can get the same look and feel for less (or until they all go on sale in December).
To give you outfit interest, you can add accessories that add a statement piece that will add a punch to your chic fall outfits.
How To Style:
- Start by pulling the item you want to wear. Whether that is a sweater, shoes, dress, or piece of jewelry (like a brooch), that piece is where you are going to start building your outfit.
- Make sure to have some contrast in your proportions. If you have a slouchy sweater, choose skinny pants. Wide leg slacks look great with tighter bodysuits or tops.
- Add interest to minimal fall outfits with statement accessories. Most likely, this will be a snake print or leopard printed shoe or bag. However, this doesn’t always have to be a print. It can be a luxe Chanel shoe (or Similar) because they are outfit makers all on their own.
- Monochrome dressing is the easiest way to look chic. Especially on a budget. More about that here.
- Make sure everything fits well and is comfortable. Nothing you wear will ever be more effective in giving you a chic look than your attitude.
